FARMERS’ MARKET WORKSHOP TO BE HELD IN MONROE CITY

University of Missouri Extension will hold a Farmers’ Market workshop in Monroe City on March 20, 2008, from 10:00-3:00, at the Monroe City Senior Center (Nutrition Site) at 314 S. Main. The workshop is free and open to anyone interested in learning more about marketing products at a Farmers’ Market. Topics to be discussed include Farmers’ Market rules & regulations, health issues, licenses, marketing & pricing your products, displaying your products and making consumers stop at your market space. Lunch will be available that day at the site for $5 for those under 60 years old, and $3 for anyone over 60. Pre-registration is required.
