Moberly Farmers' Market Meeting - April 9

We are excited to announce the Moberly's Magic Farmers Market New Farmer & Vendor meeting to be held on Thursday, April 9th at 6 pm at the Randolph County Health Department Building on 423 Logan Street in Moberly, Missouri. The market is for local farmers and vendors in Randolph and adjoining counties (Boone, Howard, Chariton, Macon, Shelby, Monroe and Audrain). This will be a "B" style farmers market venue with fruits, nuts, herbs, berries, meats, vegetables, baked goods, some local crafts and value-added items being allowed. We will be looking for committed new farmers and vendors to support our local community throughout the growing season. The agenda will include a welcome from the new board, a health department overview, presentation of the rules and regulations, questions and answer sign-up forum, and light refreshments.

We have been re-organizing the market here in Moberly through the Mainstreet, Inc. and a newly appointed board of farmers and vendors. We just received approval from the Moberly City Council to develop the market in the Historic Depot Railroad Park in Downtown Moberly on Strugeon Street Monday, March 16th. The market has been set to open Thursday, May 7th from 3 pm to 7 pm. The market will close the last week of October.

To RSVP for the meeting, or if anyone has any questions please feel free to have them contact, Dan Nelson at 573-823-5452.
