Every year, organizers of annual Women in Agriculture and Ag Landowners Regional Conference tell themselves the previous year's program will be hard to improve upon. After this year's conference, set for March 13 at the Martin Community Center in Marshall, they may be right.
"This one's going to be hard to top," said Cynthia Crawford, director of Saline County's University of Missouri Extension office in Marshall. "We keep challenging ourselves."
The conference, which will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature everything from a "nationally known speaker to fiddle music to advice on financial planning and landscaping," said Crawford.
