Blogging from Baltimore

I will be Blogging from Baltimore next week from the National Farmers’ Market Summit in Baltimore, Maryland. The Summit will be put on in partnership with the Farmers’ Market Consortium and the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service.

The Summit will assemble key stakeholders from the farmers’ market community for a national conversation on the issues and obstacles facing markets today.

Topics discussed at the Summit include:

• Identifying farmers’ market needs


• Prioritizing future research and technical assistance initiatives in support of farmers’ markets


• Providing guidance to policymakers on priorities for the use of resources for farmers’ markets.
