Local Food from the Columbia Farmers' Market

The Columbia Farmers’ Market has served the area for more than 25 years and when visiting the market you can see why it was chosen as the 2004 Missouri Farmers Market of the Year by AgriMissouri.

The Columbia market vendors offer a very wide variety of products, including plants, hanging baskets, crafts, herbs, eggs, honey, honey ice cream, baked goods, squash, tomatoes, sweet corn, cucumbers, green beans, onions, okra, melons, and more! One very unique part of the Columbia market is the weekly events from musical entertainment to kids activities and even a place to sit down and enjoy the social environment the market provides.

Be sure to visit the market Saturday, August 25 when the Slow Food Katy Trail will be hosting their annual Bruschetta festival. Come enjoy a taste of Italy, made with fresh, local heirloom tomatoes and basil. Also, this day the market will host its annual Day Lily sale.

The market is open Monday and Wednesday from 4-6 PM and Saturday from 8-Noon, starting May 2nd.

Directions: From I-70 go approximately 1.5 miles south on Stadium Blvd to Ash Street. Ash & Stadium intersection is where the new Macy's is located (formerly Famous Barr) Go east on Ash to Clinkscales (3 blocks). The market is behind the ARC (Activities and Recreation Center) Click here for map.
