About a month ago at a market visit, the Potosi community were awaiting the new pavilion for the Washington County Farmers' Market. July 11 the community celebrated the opening of their new pavilion with a ribbon cutting ceremony, kids face painting, a visit from State Representative Belinda Harris, District 110 and a free lunch for all visitors to the market.(Photo: Shawnee Douglas cutting the ribbon at the Potosi Kick-Off party for the new pavilion)
The pavilion was built from donations from the city and county health department. Congrats to the Washington County Farmers' Market!
