NAFDMA Bus Tour

Yesterday started the NAFDMA Bus Tour. What is this? According to the NAFDMA website, NAFDMA’s bus tours are undoubtedly the best-kept secret in today’s world of high technology.

Usually around 50 folks are crammed onto a 300 square foot tour bus for three days touring around the convention state visiting agritourism operations and doing lots of networking with one another. Yesterday, we visited Manning Farms/Vidalia Valley, Pineola Farm, Lane Packing and then dinner at the Rock Ranch.

Today was a fun-filled day of traveling around Georgia as well. We started the day at the Dekalb Farmers’ Market, Cagle’s Dairy and Cagle’s Farm House, dinner at Wolf Mountain Winery and Chateau Elan Winery. Tomorrow we will finish the NAFDMA Convention Bus Tour with visits with Panorama Orchards, Mercier Orchards, R&A Orchards and Hillcrest Orchards.

The tours visit tourist destinations that highlight the culture and environment of the host regions. More important, participants visit the most outstanding farm markets in North America.

Lane-
We're all dying to hear about all that you've learned!
Hope you weren't kidnapped by a Rhett Butler impersonator or anything!
