The MDA is currently working on selecting markets across the state to participate in the Missouri Farmers’ Market EBT Program.There are currently ten markets that have been selected and there are still nine machines left to place in selected markets. The wireless terminals not only accept EBT (food stamp cards) but also debit card transactions.
NCAT has some great resources available online about the EBT program in other states. We are currently working on a Missouri Farmers’ Market EBT Manual, which you will be hearing more about in the future.
