Workshops of Interest

University Extension and the Webb City Farmers Market are teaming to do several training sessions this month. All sessions are free and open to the public. No registration is required.

6 p.m. – Monday, January 14th – Food Safety from field preparation through market sales. Light meal provided.
10 a.m. – Wednesday, January 23rd – Natural and Chemical Pest Control for Vegetables (bugs, diseases and weeds)
10 a.m. – Wednesday, January 30th – Vegetable Fertility – how and when to fertilize your vegetables for increased production

All the above workshops and meeting will be at the Webb City Library, First and Liberty.

Also, Harris Seeds is working on a power point presentation for our market on perennial best sellers and emerging best sellers.
