Central Missouri Fall Vegetable Farm Tour

The Central Missouri Fall Vegetable Farm Tour will be held on Thursday, September 13th (Rain or Shine).

Meet at the Central Missouri Produce Auction to visit 3 nearby growers of quality fresh produce. This is the last of the 2007 summer farm tours hosted by MVGA (Missouri Vegetable Growers Association) and MU Extension, with support provided by MU’s Plant Protection Programs.

This tour will focus on a variety of field grown vegetables, including- melons, tomatoes, peppers (green & colored), cole crops, pumpkins (of course), fall squash, and cucumbers.

Additional features will be wood fired greenhouse heating system and a drip irrigation system display.
